Duties

• Operate the cash register with precision, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments confidently.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally.
• Conduct retail sales transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash drawer handling and balancing registers at shift end.
• Upsell complementary products and promotions to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences.
• Maintain effective phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries, ensuring clear communication.
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring accurate inventory counts through stocking activities.
• Demonstrate strong retail store product knowledge to advise customers confidently on various items.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual environments is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of retail store product offerings and merchandising techniques to assist customers effectively.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions both in person and over the phone.
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during busy periods.
• Experience with upselling techniques to promote products confidently without pressuring customers.
