L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is looking to hire a Full Time Experienced Cashier for counter service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain food orders, build orders and collect payment
- Accurately and efficiently handle cash and credit cards transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service, including taking and delivering orders on time
- Remain professional and courteous when dealing with customers
- Responsible for keeping cash clean and organized
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cashier in a high-volume setting
- Proficient in using a cash register and other necessary tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized
- Must possess a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
Preferences:
- Previous experience in fast casual restaurant
- Bilingual a plus
Benefits:
- $21 per hour. Base pay of $16 with pooled tips averaging $5 per hour
- Medical, for full-time employees
- Free meal every shift (over 3hours)
