Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and vehicle systems. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension components, and electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, and alignment procedures to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.
- Fabricate parts or modify existing components using welding and hand tools to meet specific repair needs or project requirements.
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during maintenance or repair tasks.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues on farm machinery, industrial equipment, heavy trucks, and automotive systems with precision diagnostics tools.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders accurately, and ensure all safety protocols are followed during repairs.
- Assist with assembly of new equipment or parts as needed while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician/Mechanic with experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for automotive electrical systems and hydraulic components.
- Skilled in the use of power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic testing devices.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures such as tire service, brake repair, suspension work, HVAC systems, and powertrain repairs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working in various environments; excellent customer service skills are a plus.
- Profecient in Cummins Insite and Pacar diagnoses programs .

Pay: $30.61 - $36.87 per hour
