Position Description:
Under the supervision of the Advocacy Manager this staff person provides crisis and advocacy services to victims of domestic violence within the Suffolk County Court system and within the designated police precinct in Suffolk County.
Qualifications and Skills:
Commitment to working with people whose lives have been affected or may be affected by domestic violence and knowledge of domestic violence. Strong oral and written communication skills and a background in criminal justice. Ability to network and develop relationships with community agencies and individuals. Bachelor’s degree is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
