Overview
LGIM America (LGIMA) is seeking an experienced Senior RFP Specialist to join a dynamic team responsible for strengthening LGIMA’s institutional brand positioning and sales opportunities throughout all key institutional channels while supporting the successful growth and development of its evolving investment capabilities. We are seeking an individual who embraces process efficiency and approaches workload with enthusiasm.
The key objective of the position is to engage with the team responsible for project managing, populating, completing and submitting Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, Due Diligence requests and consultant databases. The Specialist will also work closely with our Distribution, Client Solutions, Client Strategy, Operations, Investment and Global teams. It is expected that the individual will play a critical part in defining process efficiency for this function.
Responsibilities
$80,000 - $100,000
The starting salary offer will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s education, job-related experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location, and market factors. This position is also eligible to participate in the company’s annual discretionary bonus plan. Responsibilities
- Implement, adjust and execute procedures and processes to ensure timely delivery of all RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and Consultant Databases. Manage qualification process in line with priorities and resources.
- Support the RFP team as a senior member, while also developing customized proposals outlines and responses to RFIs/RFPs: foster an inclusive, dynamic working environment that motivates and inspires team members and encourages mutual respect and accountability while ensuring high-quality and accurate proposals are completed, stored and delivered.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to create qualitative content and enhance externally reported quantitative metrics. Analyze and contribute results that impact process.
- Take active role in various proposal team initiatives and projects to improve firm-wide proposal quality, efficiency and brand infusion. This will include helping the maintenance and organization of data and messaging, as relevant in the first stage of sales process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing or related field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry. Investment acumen required.
- Proven project management and interpersonal skills required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Outstanding command of written language and grammar, highly skilled at proofreading and strong attention to detail.
- Articulate, confident and driven, with the ability to work with like-minded professionals in a results-oriented, fast paced and growing environment.
- Demonstrates motivation, initiative, creativity and outcome-orientation; can work well independently and in group settings.
- Strong organization, project and time management skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, be pro-active, and work effectively independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop, communicate and execute creative solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel)
