The Opportunity

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Construction Superintendent to lead and manage medium-scale residential and commercial projects across the Greater Pittsburgh area.

In this role, you won't just be managing job sites—you will work directly alongside company leadership to help take our business to the next level. Location & Mobility

• Location: Pittsburgh, PA.
• 100% Local Work: All projects are local (no out-of-state travel required).
• Company Vehicle: A dedicated company vehicle/truck will be provided for work and commuting between sites.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Leadership & Daily Operations: Oversee and direct daily job site operations from site setup through final punch list completion. Lead site meetings, provide clear direction to crews, and coordinate subcontractors and vendors for smooth workflow and high productivity.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Perform regular site walks and quality inspections to ensure all work strictly aligns with approved plans, technical specifications, and local Pittsburgh building codes. Schedule and coordinate municipal/city inspections.
• Schedule, Logistics & Cost Control: Drive project schedules forward, manage site logistics, track materials and equipment, and support budgeting and cost control to prevent delays and downtime.
• Safety & Site Management: Enforce job site safety protocols (OSHA and company standards), conduct regular toolbox talks, and maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
• Collaboration & Communication: Maintain daily communication with owners, project managers, architects, and clients. Document progress, track field issues/delays, and provide regular progress updates and digital site photos.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Relevant hands-on field experience (2–4 years preferred) as a Construction Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Site Foreman in residential or commercial construction.
• Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, scopes of work, and technical specifications. Basic proficiency with construction management software and mobile apps.
• Leadership & Mindset: Highly motivated with an "ownership mindset," proactive problem-solving abilities, and an eagerness to grow alongside an expanding company.
• Safety & Organization: Demonstrated commitment to site safety (OSHA standards) with excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks and resources on site.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively direct trade partners, interact with clients, and collaborate with management.
• Education & License: High school diploma required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
