Position Overview
LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a talented Repair and Alterations Manager to oversee construction and repair projects at Federal Buildings and U.S. Courthouses throughout Virginia. This is a full-time, exempt position offering a dynamic work environment and opportunities to make a significant impact on federal facilities.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify, prioritize, and estimate facility-related construction projects, including interior alterations, building envelope repairs, and electrical/mechanical upgrades.
· Prepare bids and manage the execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
· Coordinate and communicate directly with GSA and tenants.
· Travel to various project sites across Virginia as needed.
· Ensure all work meets high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Qualifications
· Minimum of five years’ experience supervising or managing commercial construction projects.
· Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with professionalism and poise.
· Willingness and ability to travel within Virginia.
