We are seeking a motivated and diligent Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine surfaces
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks including high dusting, window washing, and deep cleaning of large spaces
- Maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly throughout the facility
- Assist with custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues for resolution
- Use commercial cleaning tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols
- Support other janitorial functions like replenishing supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working order
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods
- Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery like floor buffers or carpet extractors safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive motions throughout shifts

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
