What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Marketing Communications Specialist I position at KYYBA?
The Communication Specialist is responsible for helping develop and execute communications programs.
This position requires the ability to provide clear communications recommendations and counsel to influence the decision-making process. The role is responsible for serving as a counselor to Customer Service management and Trade involving impact to various parties including internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute communications strategy and tactics that align with wider strategies.
• Execute a multifaceted platform that will positively impact the business or corporate reputation.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of pharma businesses and/or therapeutic areas, industry and competitive landscape to provide effective counsel to management.
• Manage the development of Communication plans (annual and/or project) to support business growth.
• Oversee implementation of tactical program elements and ensure deliverables are on time.
• Schedule/facilitate cross-functional workshops to draft communications.
• Own deliverables to obtain approval of all communications from appropriate parties.
• Manage execution of internal and external communications.
• Keep various parties apprised of status, timelines and directional shifts to ensure smooth review process and to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, emphasis in public relations, communications or journalism preferred
3-5 years experience in a high-level Pharmaceutical business or communications environment preferred
