JOB FUNCTION
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of the division ensuring all of the team work cohesively towards common goals.
• Collaborate directly with clients during the entire project process.
• Manage and lead marketing efforts
• Coordinate and manage team including marketing, proposal preparation, estimating, and contract negotiations.
• Managing projects and project managers
• Negotiate subcontracts and POs with vendors
• Knowledge of radio frequency bandwidths
• Manage division resources, work, and backlog.
• Preparation and review of submittals and shop drawings.
• Manage safety with the company EHS division
• Understanding of anechoic materials and theoretical design
• Understanding of RF shielding and shielded enclosures
• Review and manage project P & L.
• Understanding of AIA billing methodology.
• Team leadership that includes fostering and mentoring a positive work environment that encourages entrepreneurship, decision making and engagement.
• Manage intercompany and external meetings
• Track projects and prepare weekly reports.
• Position requires up to 50% travel to customer sites.
Requires:
Education: BS degree in either construction management, construction engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or civil engineering. MBA is desirable.
Experience: Ten to fifteen years’ experience of construction management, preferably design/build delivery method. Proven experience in management and project management.
Skills: Strong multitasking, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and MS suite products. A background in critical thinking skills is mandatory.
