Title: Systems Administrator (On-site)

Location: Tallahassee, FL || Duration: Long-Term

Required Skills and Experience

* Three (3) to five (5) years of IT work experience requiring expertise in multiple system environments.
* A minimum of five (5) years of Windows server administration experience with three (3) years administering Windows 2016 and newer;
* A minimum of three (3) years of Microsoft Azure and Cloud experience and two (2) years of AWS experience;
* A minimum of five (5) years administering Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), and Group Policy in environments with over 1,000 users;
* A minimum of three (3) years of Linux server management experience;
* Demonstrated experience writing, testing, and executing PowerShell scripts;
* Proven track record installing, maintaining, and supporting third-party applications within virtual and cloud environments.

Preferred Skills and Experience

* A bachelors or masters degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience is required. Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis when applicable.

Primary Responsibilities

* Perform Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Active Directory management activities;
* Develop and maintain processes that optimize Microsoft server and Azure resources;
* Develop, deploy, and maintain processes that optimize Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and resources;
* Analyze Azure resource performance to identify resource contention and recommend changes or upgrades as needed to ensure optimization;
* Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, and systems documentation;
* Work with data center staff, the department, and users to perform resource deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes;
* Administer and configure Azure infrastructure security as needed for the department staff and users;
* Assist Azure application owners, administrators, and users with appropriate application access;
* Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Windows server issues with minimal impact on users;
* Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Linux server issues with minimal impact on users;
* Write PowerShell scripts to be used to monitor server properties and perform Active Directory and Azure management activities;
* Research and recommend appropriate technical solutions to meet functional requirements;
* Provide recommendations for possible process improvements within the departments infrastructure team;
* Create schedules for the development and implementation of specific software systems;
* Perform additional Systems Administrator tasks as required by the department.

Education
