Title: Salesforce Quality Assurance Analyst (Full-time & On-site)
Location: Tallahassee, FL || Duration: Full-time

Primary Responsibilities

* Review business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria to identify testing needs.
* Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, test data, and requirements traceability documentation.
* Perform functional, system, integration, regression, smoke, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
* Test Salesforce configurations and customizations, including:
* Lightning pages and components
* Custom objects and fields
* Validation rules
* Flows and approval processes
* Profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules
* Reports and dashboards
* Experience Cloud portals
* Email notifications and document generation
* Validate integrations between Salesforce and external applications using APIs, middleware, batch processes, and file transfers.
* Verify data migration and conversion results for completeness, accuracy, and data integrity.
* Create, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and retesting.
* Clearly communicate defect details, including reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, screenshots, and supporting evidence.
* Collaborate with developers and Salesforce administrators to troubleshoot defects and validate corrective actions.
* Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, retrospectives, and release-readiness activities.
* Support business users during User Acceptance Testing by preparing scripts, coordinating testing, tracking results, and assisting with issue resolution.
* Perform post-deployment validation and production smoke testing.
* Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, templates, standards, and quality metrics.
* Assist with developing and maintaining automated regression tests where appropriate.
* Provide testing status, defect metrics, risks, and quality recommendations to project leadership.

Required Skills and Experience

* Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
* Three or more years of software quality assurance or application testing experience.
* At least two years of hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications.
* Experience testing Salesforce Lightning Experience, standard objects, custom objects, workflows, validation rules, flows, reports, and dashboards.
* Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile or Scrum delivery methods.
* Experience creating test plans, test cases, test scripts, defect reports, and requirements traceability matrices.
* Experience using defect and test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, qTest, or similar platforms.
* Ability to interpret business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
* Understanding of Salesforce security concepts, including profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security.
* Familiarity with SOQL, Salesforce Inspector, Data Loader, or similar tools used to validate Salesforce data.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently while contributing effectively within a project team.

Preferred Skills and Experience

* Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, or other relevant Salesforce certification.
* Experience testing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Government Cloud, or applications used by government agencies.
* Experience testing Experience Cloud portals, OmniStudio, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, or Lightning Web Components.
* Experience with API testing tools.
* Experience validating data migrations, interfaces, batch jobs, and third-party integrations.
* Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Provar, Selenium, Playwright, Copado Robotic Testing, or similar solutions.
* Knowledge of accessibility testing and Section 508 or WCAG requirements.
* Experience working with DevOps, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and Salesforce release-management processes.
* Experience supporting production deployments, release validation, and post-implementation testing.
