Title: Business Analyst (Remote)
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Duration: Long Term
Travel: 20% Required
Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand business change needs, assessing the business impact of those changes, capturing, analyzing, and documenting requirements and supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- Experience working in Transportation domain (Good to have).
- Extensive experience in defining "as is and "to be business processes, creating UML diagrams, Data Flows, Workflows, documenting business needs, producing use cases and/or agile stories and other project documentation.
- Create Visio process maps, requirements traceability matrices, use cases and other business analysis documentation appropriate to the specifically assigned project needs.
- Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Manage scope, issues, risks, and critical path activities thru partnership with technology/business teams.
- Create and manage integrated project schedule, budget, constraints, and dependencies.
- Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
- Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
- Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts.
