Primary Function:
This will be responsible for the design, installation, and startup of process equipment and components. Candidates must have extensive design experience with demonstrated project management skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, installation, and startup processes for major equipment projects throughout the global organization.
- Coordinate with global manufacturing groups regarding new equipment design, tooling design, equipment installation, exp.
- Troubleshooting problems with existing equipment.
- Tooling and fixture design.
- Reverse engineering.
- Working with vendors.
- Equipment training, process and drawing documentation.
- Systematic problem solving skills .
- Process capability, PFMEA, SPC, GR&R and other quality tools .
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10 years of applicable experience.
- Technical Expert in SolidWorks (Parts, Assemblies and Drawings).
- Extensive experience in designing high-speed manufacturing equipment (Design, Fabrication, Installation and Training of personnel).
- Extensive experience in tooling design and fabrication.
- Extensive experience in mechanical assembly and equipment troubleshooting.
Preferred Requirements:
- Proficient with precision measuring tools and working with close tolerances.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Power Point, Word and Excel).
- Proficient in ACAD.
- Must be self-motivated, able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Position could require some domestic and international travel working on projects related to the development, testing and evaluation of industrial equipment for production facilities.
