Ky Truck Worx is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our shop's team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, mainteneance and installing parts on a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles as well as other cars, SUV's and pick up trucks. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of vehicles . Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, electrical systems, suspension, using schematics and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications..
- Troubleshoot vehicle issues promptly through electrical diagnostics and mechanical inspections to minimize downtime.
- Replace or repair major mechanical parts, wiring, suspension, fuel systems etc.
- Installation of after-market parts.
- Maintain detailed service records, schematics diagrams, and maintenance logs for all repairs performed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of pick-up trucks/ automotive systems.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, automotive diagnostics.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform complex installations, including engine work, wheel and tire balancing, and suspension work.
- Knowledge of OEM specifications for diesel engines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on equipment troubleshooting and repair accuracy.
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to team members.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various conditions safely.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
