Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a positive experience for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping and proper floor care techniques to ensure a professional appearance
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas according to health and safety standards
- Use commercial cleaning equipment
- Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning products as needed
- Conduct periodic industrial cleaning tasks including window washing and deep cleaning of high-touch surfaces
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate team
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of custodial procedures
- Strong understanding of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently and safely
- Experience with facilities maintenance or basic repair work is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleanliness in all areas
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods
