Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Enrichment Teacher to support students from immigrant families in developing strong English language skills. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching and able to help students build confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English enrichment lessons for students in Grades 1–8
- Support students in developing foundational and advanced English skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students from diverse language backgrounds
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents as needed
- Collaborate with school staff to align curriculum and student support strategie
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Education, English, ESL, or related field preferred)
- Experience teaching English or ESL/ELL students, preferably in a classroom setting
- Passion for working with students from immigrant or multilingual backgrounds
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to engage students of different grade levels (G1–G8)
- Weekend availability (Saturday or Sunday)
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
