We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Semi-Skilled Concrete and Carpentry Laborer to join our crew. In this role, you will assist our lead carpenters and concrete masons on residential and commercial job sites. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational construction experience who wants to build their skill set, work steady hours, and grow within the trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Carpentry: Assist with rough carpentry, framing, building concrete forms, setting up scaffolding, and measuring/cutting lumber.
- Concrete Work: Help set and line concrete forms, pour and rake concrete, assist with basic finishing work, and handle strip forms after curing.
- Site Preparation & Safety: Load and unload materials, set up tools, maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow all safety protocols.
- General Labor: Operate basic power tools (circular saws, drills, demo hammers) and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in general construction, rough carpentry, or concrete work preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand, kneel, bend, and work outdoors in various weather conditions for full shifts.
- Reliability: Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to job sites are preferred.
- Mindset: Strong work ethic, punctual, ability to take direction, and a strong commitment to safety.
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
