Role Overview: We're seeking a talented Paid Social Strategist to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in crafting and executing impactful social media strategies. The Social Media Strategist will support the social media strategy and oversee its implementation and day-to-day execution. This hands-on-keyboard platform expert will focus on all aspects of successful campaign execution and stewardship. The Strategist is responsible for the performance and pacing of their assigned brand(s) and they act as a point of escalation and are a go-to expert both internally and externally for matters of complex campaign setup, optimization, and platform nuances. They must have expertise across a variety of client KPIs and buying platforms including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and LinkedIn.
What You'll Do:
- The Social Media Strategist is responsible for executing and optimizing social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Recommend campaign set up based on the objectives of the campaign and the unique platform offerings.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of platforms, vendors, and measurement tools to stay at the forefront of new offerings and ensure best practices are maintained across all platforms
- Recommend and implement real time optimizations based on budget pacing and quality reporting
- Oversee assistant’s work and ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with other internal departments (integrated media team, analytics team and creatives), external agency partners and clients
What We're Looking For:
- Social Media Expert: 3-4 years of experience in hands-on keyboard media buying and digital media strategy, with in-depth knowledge of leading Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Google Analytics a plus.
- Polished Professional: Bachelor's degree OR equivalent professional work experience.
- Eagle Eye for Detail: Possess a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in campaign set up, execution, and reporting.
- Proactive Problem-Solver: Ability to anticipate, recognize, and clearly define problems and demonstrate proactive problem-solving by seeking innovative solutions, weighing alternatives, and proposing solutions.
- Positive Team Player: Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Data Detective: Masterful at data analysis and storytelling, underpinned by the ability to communicate insights clearly and interpret performance metrics to inform strategic decisions. Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in working with large datasets
- Communication Champion: Exhibits advanced communication with strong written and verbal communication skills with internal managers and clients. Showcases ease and comfort in presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Collaboration Crusader: Confident collaboration with internal and external partners and the adept handling of business relationships (manage up/down/ laterally (e.g., ability to navigate and be effective with multiple personalities).
