Job Overview

Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common spaces to ensure compliance with health standards
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to preserve flooring quality and appearance
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks using specialized equipment for large-scale or high-traffic areas
- Assist with facilities maintenance duties including minor repairs and reporting larger issues to management
- Support residential painting projects as needed to help maintain the aesthetic appeal of the facility
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods including buffing and polishing
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Must have own transportation
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks and basic repair skills preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
