About the Role
The firm is searching for an associate attorney. This is a highly impactful role; the successful candidate will report directly to a Senior Associate and a Partner, serving as a trusted advisor to the firm's clients. The associate will work closely with a diverse client base — comprising lifestyle brands, creatives and AD100 / Elle Décor A-List design professionals — on their advisory and legal needs. An ideal candidate will thrive in an independent environment, produce high-quality work product with minimal guidance, demonstrate a client-oriented, proactive mindset, a strong interest in design, and the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
Qualifications
• Licensed to practice in New York and CA preferred, but not required.
• Proactive with a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize projects and deadlines
• Proven ability to manage clients, deal flow and internal teams of junior associates
• Ability to anticipate client and Managing Partner needs
• Well-organized, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
• Strong project management / organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Apple IOS and related applications
