The Senior HR Associate will support day-to-day HR operations while leading key functional areas including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations support, HR compliance, and personnel documentation. This role ensures timely, accurate, and regulation-compliant HR service delivery aligned with federal/state employment laws and expectations for a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be a versatile HR professional capable of managing high-volume recruiting, supporting policy execution, maintaining HRIS accuracy, and serving as a reliable point of contact for employees and supervisors across the organization.
This position’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, completing pre-employment activities, and supporting offer processes.
- Conduct new hire orientation and oversee onboarding activities, ensuring accurate documentation, training assignments, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain and update HRIS employee records, assist with payroll report review, and support adjustments to ensure accuracy and adherence to wage and hour requirements.
- Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on HR policies, benefits, attendance, and general employee relations matters, escalating concerns as appropriate.
- Process and track leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA), workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and related documentation requirements.
- Maintain personnel files and HR documentation in alignment with data integrity standards, FDA/cGMP expectations, and internal SOPs.
- Lead assigned HR programs such as the annual Internship Program, onboarding initiatives, engagement activities, or compliance tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of progressive HR experience, including recruitment, onboarding, HRIS administration, and compliance responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII) and general HR compliance principles.
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or comparable HRIS, and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and confidentiality skills with the ability to support multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
