Job Summary
The Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring adherence to all regulatory, accreditation, and organizational compliance standards for KVC’s hospital and related programs. This role supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with federal, state, and accrediting body requirements. The Compliance Manager works collaboratively with leadership and staff to promote a culture of ethical practice, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field required.
Licensure/Certification: Valid drivers license and auto insurance. At least 21 years of age.
Experience: One to three years of related experience in gathering, analyzing, and reporting data. Experience in children or family services or healthcare environment preferred.
Preferred Experience/Skills: Requires intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook email.
Key Responsibilities
- Practice conduct that displays respect for all KVC colleagues and community stakeholders regardless of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, or veteran status.
- Develop and implement reporting methods for quality assurance to include racking systems of clinical benchmarks and outcomes.
- Compile, analyze, and monitor data and results, and report out to assigned leadership.
- Participate as needed in all regulatory audits and reviews for compliance monitoring purposes.
- Ensure all Joint Commission related standards are met
- Monitor performance improvement and quality initiatives to enhance compliance an quality of services.
- Abides by HIPPA and KVC confidentiality and privacy policies.
- Partner with medical records and/or other compliance related departments as needed to ensure adequate staffing.
- Facilitate, participate and/or document meetings/committees as assigned i.e. (medical management, P & T, and performance improvement).
- Assists with routine quality assurance and compliance audits
- Submit monthly training deficiency reports from online learning platform to leadership for review.
- Utilize and maintain current knowledge of KVC operating systems needed to perform in this role; including but not limited to, KVC’s Human Resources Information System and Electronic Medical Records Platform.
Additional duties may be assigned based on organizational needs and staff qualifications.
Physical & Work Environment
This role involves a mix of standing, walking, and occasional lifting, along with regular use of office equipment. You’ll work in a professional office setting with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to outdoor conditions.
