A day in the life
- Run complex grinding jobs between centers and via chucking for both OD and ID features.
- Create and refine conversational CNC programs to hit exact tolerances.
- Set up multi-tool operations and verify steps before first‑piece approval.
- Follow a scheduled job list set by your supervisor and keep jobs moving efficiently.
- Track time precisely with job clock‑in/clock‑out for each operation.
- Partner closely with Quality Assurance technicians on critical inspections.
- Handle customer parts with exceptional care to minimize scrap and rework.
- Drive quality and throughput while maintaining a clean, organized work area.
