Step into a leadership role that blends hands-on OD/ID machining with coaching, scheduling, and continuous improvement. As the Cylindrical Grinding Cell Supervisor, you will guide a team of grinding technicians, keep production moving, and raise the bar for quality and delivery.

A day in your week

• Plan and prioritize the schedule, matching technician skill to job complexity and customer due dates.
• Walk the floor: coach, troubleshoot, verify setups, and jump on a grinder when the situation calls for it.
• Review new work to sequence jobs for maximum flow and throughput, minimizing changeovers where possible.
• Monitor quality and delivery: perform in-process checks during setup and production runs; remove bottlenecks before they slow the cell.
• Coordinate constantly with operations, production, safety, and quality teams to keep commitments synchronized.
• Interface directly with customers when technical clarification is needed or when issues surface, ensuring rapid, accurate resolution.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and process control; escalate scope or quality concerns early.
• Develop people: train, mentor, lead development conversations, and contribute input to performance evaluations.
• Champion a culture of safety, precision, and continuous improvement across the team.
