Work Hours: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join a growing energy services company. This role involves servicing, installing, and maintaining LP propane appliances and tanks for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, customer-focused, and comfortable working in various outdoor conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and service LP propane appliances, tanks, and equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair propane systems, including identifying and repairing leaks.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections of propane equipment.
- Respond to customer requests, including emergency service calls for insufficient or no heat.
- Ensure compliance with all municipal and safety guidelines.
- Maintain service vehicle cleanliness and conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and reaching.
- Travel within the assigned service area and adapt to seasonal and weather conditions.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a service technician installing, maintaining, or repairing equipment or systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement and a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CETP Certification.
- Experience with MS Office and Outlook.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
