Logistics Picking Clerk

This is a new position for our company and is coming as a result of the amount of growth that has been experienced over the past year and the growth that is expected in the coming year. General Responsibilities

· Work as a team to help build the business for long-term success

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment while conducting general warehouse upkeep

· Accurately pick and prepare materials from the warehouse for shipping or customer pickup

· Help and perform inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment

· Verify product numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy

· Adhere to all company policies and procedures

· Additional duties as assigned

Accountability

· Report to the Logistics Manager

· Help limit inventory inaccuracies

· Escalate any issues with products missing or counts off

· Current Business Support

o Provide outstanding service and support to existing customers

Skills Needed

· Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening

· Reliable and motivated to start a long-term career

· Ability to work on feet for 8 hours, climbing, and carry loads up to 50 pounds

· Good with numbers and comfortable with basic counting and organization

· Microsoft Office

· A Team player with a positive attitude

· No prior warehouse experience required – we will train you

· Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening
