About the Role

We’re hiring a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day execution of residential construction projects. This role is responsible for scheduling, coordination and follow-through across active jobs ensuring projects stay on track, crews are supported and issues are resolved before they escalate.

This is a hands-on PM role. You’ll succeed here if you value planning, communication and steady leadership.

What You’ll Do

Project Execution & Scheduling

• Manage project schedules and daily coordination across assigned jobs
• Sequence work based on labor availability and timelines
• Coordinate labor, subcontractors and materials with field leadership
• Identify risks early and adjust plans to keep projects moving

Project Management Oversight

• Set clear execution expectations for each project
• Ensure project plans are followed and standards are met
• Review plans for constructability and sequencing
• Work with internal support staff to keep documentation current

Capacity & Coordination

• Monitor workload and crew capacity
• Communicate constraints and potential conflicts to leadership
• Help protect field teams from over commitment

Client Communication & Issue Resolution

• Provide consistent project updates to clients
• Address project-level concerns professionally and efficiently
• Escalate larger issues appropriately without involving ownership unnecessarily

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with field leads to support execution
• Partner with team on project handoffs and timelines
• Collaborate with leadership on continuous improvement

• Sell or close projects
• Set pricing or margins
• Run marketing or recruiting
• Carry excessive administrative workload
• Operate without clear authority on execution decisions

• Clear communication between office, field and clients
• Strong coordination and follow-through
• Fewer escalations reaching ownership

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of construction project management experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and buildability
• Experience working closely with field crews
• Clear, confident communicator

Preferred Qualifications

• Residential construction experience
• Experience in a growing construction company
• Familiarity with JobTread or similar project management software
