Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00
Department: Inventory Control
Reports To: Supply Chain Manager
The Inventory Control Specialist audits warehouse inventory accuracy through physical inventory counts, product review, and other necessary or assigned tasks.
Job Description:
- Execute daily cycle counts according to Kuna’s cycle count plan
- Execute daily inventory, date, and lot verifications on sensitive and requested items
- Organize inventory in pick slots
- Report and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies
- Ensure correct labeling of products and racking
- Identify and remove damaged products
- Audits of inbound receiving for accuracy, investigate discrepancies and communicate with accounts payable
- Work unsupervised for extended periods of time
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Able to work safely in a warehouse environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to lift, push and pull up to 100 lbs. regularly
- Able to stand for 8-10 hour shifts
- Able to work in refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from -10⁰F to 40⁰F
- Ability to obtain material handling equipment certifications on electric pallet jacks, high-rise order pickers, forklifts, etc.
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) skills
- Prior WMS or ERP experience
- Prior warehouse experience, food distribution, and inventory control a plus
