Responsibilities
- Assist in grading assignments and tests accurately and efficiently
- Support curriculum development by preparing instructional materials
- Help manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for learners of all ages
- Provide additional support to students who need extra help with lessons or concepts
- Contribute to lesson planning and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including special education and early childhood education
- Maintain clear communication with students, and parents regarding progress and classroom expectations
- Support classroom management by supervising students during activities, transitions, and breaks
Qualifications
- Experience working with children across various age groups, including preschool and early childhood education
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and experience in a classroom setting
- Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and learning technology tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching is highly desirable
- Familiarity with special education practices and accommodations is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle childcare responsibilities responsibly and professionally
