What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Learning Assistant position at Kumon?
Kumon is the world’s largest and most successful after-school Math and Reading program which caters to students between the age of 3 and 17.
Responsibilities:
Aid in the learning of Math and Reading.
Help early learners sound out alphabets, learn number sequencing and stroke order.
Grading worksheets. Answer books will be provided.
Make sure the student you work with understands concepts, finishes their work on time and leaves with a smile.
Responsible for the cleanliness of the center.
Hours:
3:00pm to 7:15pm
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Skills and Requirements:
Passionate about working with children.
Must be reliable, responsible, punctual, professional, follow directions and be patient with kids.
Excellent communication and instructional skills. An ability to observe, understand, and communicate with children.
Providing feedback to the instructor about student’s progress.
Experience working with kids between the age of 3-7 is preferred, NOT required.
