Duties
- Assist with curriculum development and lesson planning to create engaging, age-appropriate educational activities
- Support classroom management by maintaining an organized, safe, and inclusive environment for children and adults
- Help implement learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement
- Provide tutoring and individualized support to students to reinforce learning objectives
- Aid teachers with classroom activities, including setting up materials and supervising student participation
- Manage daily childcare responsibilities, ensuring the well-being and safety of young children in preschool or early childhood settings
- Collaborate with educators to adapt lessons for students with special education needs or other accommodations
- Foster positive communication with students, parents, and staff to promote a supportive educational atmosphere
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of student progress and classroom activities
- Support early childhood education initiatives by engaging children in developmental play and learning experiences
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or in educational settings, including preschool or early childhood education preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff
- Experience with classroom management techniques that promote discipline and positive behavior
- Knowledge of curriculum development principles and lesson planning strategies
- Familiarity with learning technology tools used in modern classrooms
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners, including those requiring special education support
- Demonstrated patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching and childcare
- Experience working with students of various age groups, including adult education programs is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
