Duties
- Review and grade student assignments promptly and accurately, following established guidelines
- Provide constructive feedback to students and instructors to support ongoing learning progress
- Maintain organized records of graded work and student performance data
- Assist with lesson planning by preparing materials based on curriculum standards
- Support classroom management efforts by ensuring student work is completed correctly and on time
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify areas for student improvement and tailor grading practices accordingly
- Uphold confidentiality of student information and adhere to privacy policies at all times
Skills
- Strong understanding of special education principles and childhood development
- Experience with literacy education, math, and curriculum development
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and working with children with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with early childhood education frameworks such as Montessori or preschool methodologies
- Experience working in daycare, private school, or preschool settings preferred
- Skills in behavior management and working with individuals with diverse needs including toddlers, preschoolers, and children requiring special accommodations
