Role Description The Air Compressor Technician is a full-time, role based in Salisbury, MD. This position is responsible for installing, inspecting, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial air compressor systems and associated equipment. Daily tasks include performing scheduled and corrective maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, replacing parts, and ensuring systems operate within manufacturer and safety specifications. The technician will complete service reports, maintain accurate maintenance records, and communicate findings and recommendations to supervisors and client contacts. The role also involves adhering to all safety procedures, participating in safety meetings, supporting boiler and other stationary equipment operations when needed, and assisting with on-call or emergency service as required.

Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with industrial air compressors, including installation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Practical knowledge of related systems (piping, valves, controls, electrical components) and ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical skills, and proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments.
- Commitment to safety, including following lockout/tagout procedures, PPE requirements, and company and client safety policies.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues on active job sites.
- Strong organizational skills, including accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, HVAC, or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in stationary engineering, industrial maintenance, or a similar role is highly desirable; exposure to boilers, air compressors, or ammonia systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in areas surroundingSalisbury, MD, including standing, lifting, and working in industrial environments, sometimes outside regular business hours.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites, as required.
