Wood Worker

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our wood shop team. This role involves building custom skids, pallets, and shipping crates used to safely transport industrial equipment. While prior woodworking or carpentry experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Construct skids, pallets, and wooden crates according to specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
• Operate tools such as nail guns, saws, drills, and tape measures
• Ensure all builds meet quality and durability standards for shipping
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Basic experience with woodworking, carpentry, or construction
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools (nail guns, circular saws, etc.)
• Ability to read measurements and use a tape measure accurately
• Experience working with lumber and basic materials

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.

Must be able to commute to Flemington, NJ 08822
