How you create impact
- Manage the recruiting / staffing processes and activities
- Conduct new hire orientations and HR related training sessions
- Compile and analyze employment related information and prepare personnel / staffing reports
- Conduct exit interviews
- Compile information for and attend unemployment hearings
- Compile and maintain Diversity / EEO reports
- Maintain and update personnel and medical files for each employee.
- Update employee files and process personnel status forms in order to document personnel actions
- Provide necessary information to authorized persons on a regular basis
- Conduct internal audits on personnel files
- Maintain and record all employee information in HR Office
- Create, maintain, and update position profiles
- Compile and maintain records for use in employee benefits administration
- Serves as the contact with the temporary agencies and the temporary employees; manages all temporary staffing relationships and coordinates all needed communication between Kuehne & Nagel and outside agencies
- Maintain and update Human Resources bulletin boards
- Bachelor's degree (BA / BS) from four-year college or university or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environment
- Solid knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, etc.)
- Proven experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and partnerships across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar systems is a plus
- Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse setting
- A collaborative, hands-on approach and a genuine passion for supporting employees and improving workplace culture
