As a Warehouse Transportation Manager at Kuehne Nagel, you’ll oversee daily shuttle operations between our distribution center and our client’s manufacturing site. Your coordination ensures timely deliveries, smooth communication, and real-time problem solving that keeps supply chains moving. How you create impact
- Manage shuttle dispatch from KN distribution centers to the client’s manufacturing site.
- Serve as the primary contact for daily transportation operations and customer escalations.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely, compliant deliveries.
- Ensure adherence to DOT regulations and internal safety standards.
- Maintain clear communication across clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Oversee transport documentation from order initiation through billing.
- Report daily on service levels, exceptions, and operational performance.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new dispatch staff as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in transportation management or logistics
- 3 years in transportation dispatch, scheduling, or logistics coordination
- 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards
- Proficient in TMS platforms such as Swiftlog, or OTM
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible to work holidays as needed
