You will have oversight of the facility and ensure the full and efficient operation of the site. Your key responsibilities will include the overall planning, staffing, balancing workloads to achieve production and delivery goals, budgeting, P&Ls, tracking metrics and analyzing data to optimize operations, and keeping a strong, secure relationship with our customer. We will count on your years of experience in distribution management, succession planning, and building bench strength. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace.
How you create impact
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize quality and productivity
Continuously improve effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes
Ensure the development of systems and procedures to manage physical facilities, equipment, and products profitably
Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA regulations
Assist in the establishment of customer service standards for all accounts; communicate expectations and ensure alignment with all personnel
Regularly communicate with customers, respond quickly to inquiries, and provide prompt solutions in a mutually beneficial manner
Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality in sanitation, maintenance, security, housekeeping, quality, and safety
Drive a culture where diversity, equity, and inclusion work together to create a sense of belonging and a stronger workforce
Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
Partner with HR to resolve internal staff conflicts; monitor and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
What we would like you to bring
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
10 years in 3PL warehousing in healthcare
5 years of Genral Mangement or 10 - 15 years of Senior Management experience
2 years of experience with leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Process Improvement
Experience embracing/supporting DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs
