Position Overview
As a Commercial Plumbing Foreman, you will work closely with management to review project plans, budgets, and schedules before work begins. You will oversee field operations, delegate tasks, and ensure crews are equipped to deliver exceptional results.
This position requires travel to various job sites, with up to 50% out-of-town travel for projects. Travel demands may be higher during initial project rollouts and are expected to decrease as major projects are completed. Per diem and company housing are provided for qualifying travel.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Review blueprints and project specifications to confirm scope, budget, and timeline
- Plan, schedule, and delegate tasks to plumbing crews
- Oversee all phases of on-site work to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain quality control and enforce safety standards
- Document materials, equipment usage, and any issues or delays
- Order materials and manage inventory
- Monitor budgets and review project costs
- Provide regular status updates and reports to upper management
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License
- 5 years of professional plumbing experience, including supervisory roles in a commercial setting
- Strong ability to lead and manage crews
- Proficient in blueprint reading and project planning
- Experience with quality control, risk management, and budget review
- Material ordering and inventory control experience
- Equipment operation and excavation experience is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% for out-of-town projects
Work Schedule & Location
- Monday–Friday, 8–10-hour day shifts
- Some travel required (per diem and company housing provided for projects outside the area)
