Job Summary
Warner Plumbing is seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Plumber to join our team and work on large-scale commercial plumbing projects. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the commercial plumbing industry. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will be assisting with various tasks and learning essential skills necessary for a successful career in plumbing.
Duties
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in commercial settings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
- Work outdoors in all weather types, temperatures, and seasons.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
- Help assemble and install pipes, fixtures, and fittings according to specifications.
- Participate in construction plumbing projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Support skilled plumbers in troubleshooting issues within existing systems.
Requirements
- Be on time.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools (tape measure, level, hammer, saws) is required. Familiarity with tools used in plumbing is a plus. Basic hand tools will be required.
- Be able to complete basic math problems and read a tape measure.
- Have a personal vehicle to be able to get to work.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety on construction sites.
- Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Be able to work both from heights and in confined spaces.
- Be able to be on your feet for up to 12 hours.
- Willing to comply with company safety policy and OSHA standards. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required at all times.
Experience
No experience in plumbing is required. We will train the right person.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
