What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Associate Attorney position at Kubicki Draper?
The Orlando office of Kubicki Draper is seeking an attorney with 3 years experience that is interested in joining our litigation practice. Experience in insurance defense is preferred but we are also open to candidates with plaintiff-side experience, as many of those skills transfer well to this role.
- Must be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing to be considered.
- Strong legal research and excellent writing skills, as well as possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy
- Draft/review substantive pleadings and motions
- Respond to motions & discovery
- Insurance defense experience preferred
- Plaintiff-side litigation experience will also be considered
- Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
- Ability to work in a fast paced evolving environment
