We are looking for an experienced A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.

About the Position

As an A&P Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will perform inspections, troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, and repairs on a variety of aircraft systems and components. You will have regular opportunities to support our Part 135 light-jet fleet while also working on aircraft maintained through our Part 145 repair station.

Most work is performed in our hangar Monday through Friday. Occasional AOG field service, ramp-side work, after-hours assistance, overtime, and rotating on-call coverage may be required.

The ideal candidate is a dependable and motivated technician who works well independently and as part of a team. This individual should have strong technical judgment, attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a commitment to continued training and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft structures, engines, propellers, flight controls, landing gear, and other components for damage, wear, cracks, corrosion, and defects
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, structural, and hydraulic system malfunctions
• Complete scheduled, preventive, and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
• Repair or replace defective components using approved tools, procedures, and maintenance practices
• Use gauges, test equipment, and diagnostic tools to evaluate aircraft systems and components
• Review and follow maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical documents, engineering instructions, and other approved data
• Maintain accurate and complete records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and testing
• Ensure work complies with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidance, company procedures, and applicable safety standards
• Communicate maintenance findings, repair recommendations, and work progress to supervisors and other team members
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
• Assist with AOG response, ramp-side maintenance, and after-hours support as needed
• Participate in required training and continuing education
• Support and collaborate with less-experienced technicians when appropriate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required
• Minimum of five years of aircraft maintenance experience
• Experience with turbine-powered aircraft or light jets preferred
• Part 145 repair station or Part 135 fleet maintenance experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, technical documents, mechanical drawings, and engineering instructions
• Ability to troubleshoot aircraft systems and make sound maintenance recommendations
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete work safely and efficiently
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently without continuous direct supervision
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with technicians, leadership, flight crews, and customers
• Availability for rotating on-call shifts, occasional evenings, holidays, and overtime when required
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid state-issued driver’s license
• Ability to successfully complete an FAA and DOT-compliant drug screening
• Must provide the tools necessary to perform the position

Physical Requirements

This position regularly requires the employee to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, and work beneath aircraft wings and structures
• Use hand and power tools with coordination and precision
• Maintain sufficient hand-eye coordination and peripheral vision to perform aircraft maintenance safely
• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 75 pounds
• Work in and around aircraft, hangars, ramps, and other active aviation environments
