Location: On-Site - Must currently reside on Oʻahu and be available for in-person interviews and immediate hire.

Schedule: Full-time; open availability including weekends and holidays is required.

Position Summary
The Property Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in keeping Kualoa Ranch’s operations and facilities functioning safely and efficiently. This hands-on position supports the upkeep and improvement of both residential and commercial structures across the property. Working as part of a collaborative maintenance team, this role assists with repairs, builds, and general maintenance tasks that help preserve the beauty, functionality, and integrity of Kualoa’s lands and assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to Lead Property Maintenance Technicians and other team members.
• Perform general repairs and maintenance, including carpentry, construction, and renovation work.
• Clean and prepare job sites; load and unload materials and equipment.
• Assist Leads in framing, masonry, plastering, roofing, and other construction tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring proper care and storage of tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and report potential hazards or maintenance issues promptly.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 years of experience in general construction, carpentry, or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong carpentry and/or home renovation experience (priority).
• Experience handling power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and construction equipment safely.
• Valid Hawaiʻi driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Plumbing and electrical experience a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large properties, estates, or ranch environments.
• Familiarity with both residential and commercial building systems.
• Ability to interpret and execute work orders, blueprints, or basic plans.
• Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices or repair methods that align with Kualoa’s environmental values.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and performing physical labor for extended periods.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions such as heat, rain, and wind.
