Working as part of a collaborative maintenance team, this role assists with repairs, builds, and general maintenance tasks that help preserve the beauty, functionality, and integrity of Kualoa’s lands and assets.

Working as part of a collaborative maintenance team, this role assists with repairs, builds, and general maintenance tasks that help preserve the beauty, functionality, and integrity of Kualoa’s lands and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and assistance to Lead Property Maintenance Technicians and other team members.
- Perform general repairs and maintenance, including carpentry, construction, and renovation work.
- Clean and prepare job sites; load and unload materials and equipment.
- Assist Leads in framing, masonry, plastering, roofing, and other construction tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring proper care and storage of tools and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and report potential hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
- 1 years of experience in general construction, carpentry, or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong carpentry and/or home renovation experience (priority).
- Experience handling power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and construction equipment safely.
- Valid Hawaiʻi driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Plumbing and electrical experience a plus.
- Experience working on large properties, estates, or ranch environments.
- Familiarity with both residential and commercial building systems.
- Ability to interpret and execute work orders, blueprints, or basic plans.
- Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
- Knowledge of sustainable building practices or repair methods that align with Kualoa’s environmental values.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, bending, and performing physical labor for extended periods.
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions such as heat, rain, and wind.
