Development Officer

Assists in planning, organizing, and implementing fundraising programs and activities, particularly planned giving and endowments, to help fund capital improvement projects, developing new programs and services, and acquisition of equipment at the Health System and its subsidiaries. The Development Coordinator works collaboratively across the Development team to ensure seamless execution of campaigns, cultivation events, and donor stewardship efforts that reflect Kuakini's 'Caring is Our Tradition' culture.

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or Bachelor Degree in communications, public relations, business administration, non-profit management, or a related field preferred. Minimum one (1) year public relations, advertising, and/or marketing experience required. Minimum 1 year experience and/or education in business management, finance, or related areas required; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications for this position. Experience in fundraising and related activities preferred. Experience with donor database or CRM systems is desirable. Hospital/healthcare-setting or community non-profit experience desirable. Ability to speak, read, and write in Japanese preferred.

Salary Range $64,409 to $69,095
