Our client is seeking a motivated and client-focused Senior Tax Associate to join their growing Tax practice in a direct hire capacity. We are looking for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, mentoring junior staff, and partnering with leadership to deliver high-quality tax solutions across a variety of industries and entity structures. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and nonprofits
- Support tax planning, research, and consulting engagements for a diverse client base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and responsiveness
- Collaborate with Managers and Partners on tax strategy, compliance, and special projects
- Mentor and support Tax Associates and interns through training, coaching, and review feedback
- Stay current on changing tax regulations and industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA license or active progress toward CPA preferred
- 3 years of public accounting tax experience
- Experience preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returns
- Strong technical tax knowledge and research skills
