Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable safety regulations
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses
- Prepare incident reports and recommend preventive measures
- Lead safety training sessions and educate employees on best practices
- Monitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain safety records, logs, and compliance documentation
- Assist in emergency preparedness planning and response drills
- Collaborate with supervisors and departments to improve safety culture
- Track safety performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Monthly collection of storm water and reporting to plan
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in workplace safety, risk management, or compliance
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations
- Strong investigation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and training abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems
