Welder / Fabricator — Full-Time | Onsite in Lancaster, WI

Our client is a well-established, innovation-driven manufacturing company in Lancaster, WI. They’re seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join their team supporting both production and R&D projects.
In this hands-on role, you’ll fabricate and weld custom parts using a variety of metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminum). You’ll interpret drawings and sketches, collaborate with a talented team, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a clean, well-organized shop environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and part specifications.
- Fabricate, weld, and inspect parts safely and efficiently to meet customer requirements.
- Operate welding and cutting equipment, saws, grinders, and hand tools.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges; enter data into the quality database.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized workspace.
- Complete quality documentation and participate in process improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve production challenges and achieve goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of fabrication and welding experience.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless, and aluminum.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
- Experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Basic computer literacy (for quality data entry).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and cross-train as needed.
- Welding certification preferred but not required.
Physical & Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally and work in a standing position for most of the shift. The shop environment may include noise, heat, and moving equipment. Safety gear and procedures are provided and required.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (First Shift)
- Pay: Competitive hourly wage, based on experience
