We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our internal accounting team as an Accounting Supervisor reporting to our Managing Partner. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a proven background in complex accounting, reporting, and financial analysis, ready to take their career to the next level.
In this role, you will have exposure to complex general ledger activities, financial review & analysis, and other special projects. You will also be instrumental in assisting our business leaders with their financial reporting needs, including related analyses critical to the continued success of our business.

Responsibilities
- Record business transactions and maintain the general ledger, including bank and credit card reconciliations, accruals and journal entries
- Prepare financial statements
- Prepare payroll for clients
- Prepare and file sales tax returns
- Communicate directly with clients in person, email and via phone
- Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and NetSuite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Excellent analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working in a professional services firm is a plus
- Bilingual – fluency in Spanish and English is a plus
