Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Contractor Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety protocols. As a Contractor Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Provide your own empty minivan or cargo van
- Possess a smart phone and be comfortable using it
- Ability to arrive to scheduled pickups on time consistently
- Ability to occasionally handle up to 90lb packages.~2-3 a week.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate personal van, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Experience with loading/unloading cargo efficiently and safely.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Capability to navigate using GPS systems or maps to find the most efficient routes.
