The System Administrator requires excellent customer service and organizational skills. The individual will foster a positive work environment by maintaining respectful interactions with all employees, vendors, and partners. They will provide high-quality end-user desktop support via phone and in person, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, maintenance, upgrades, configuration, and installation of laptops, mobile devices, and desktop systems. They will also be able to appropriately determine solutions to complex problems with the organization's computer equipment, network systems, mobile devices, and applications.
The System Administrator will work closely with all areas of the company and will be responsible for responding to service requests submitted by users through the customer support system. They will respond to and interact with users via email, text message, or telephone.
You will be required to work with moderate supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ø It helps provide troubleshooting, analysis, specification, and configuration, coordination, testing, and installation of computer/mobile device-based software, peripherals, local area networks (LANs), and other peripheral equipment.
Ø Assists in maintaining asset control and compliance with department directives and policies, and maintains the highest level of data security.
Ø It provides first-class troubleshooting for hardware and mobile/enterprise computers, handheld devices, operating system software, application programs, peripheral equipment, servers, and LAN interfaces.
Ø Applies experience, skills, and system knowledge effectively to resolve technical issues of desktop workstations and personal computers, associated equipment, and network connectivity across the enterprise user community.
Ø Works with other technical support staff , network administrators, application developers, and IT personnel to resolve technical issues as needed.
Ø Works with other IT team members to provide timely user support services and receive, log in, document, and close trouble calls using the help desk system.
Ø Helps to analyze, define specifications, configure, coordinate, install, repair and test computers/mobile devices and peripheral equipment.
Ø The System Administrator will be required to have effective communication with IT management and their immediate supervisor.
Pay: $34.00 per hour
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- IT : 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CCNA and MCSE Certifications (Required)
